Today Sahanna decided she would walk from the living room to the dining room:)  She's been taking steps all week. She's fitted with her new lift shoe sandals and almost made it to the coffee table.

 
More Apointments 02/07/2008
 

Today Sahanna went to Shriners for a night brace adjustment.  These are usually very long appointments.

 
 

Today, Sahanna had speech therapy.  She always talks before and after her appointments. lol.  Though I think they help. Sahanna seems to get more entertainment than anything else.  Currently Sahanna is trying to stand up and let go.  She's eat's and drinks plenty. Mostly baby foods but some table food and snacks such as crackers.

    I received another wonderful message to me and my family.  A mother describes how Sahanna's story has helped her.  She's visited this website before but has been awaiting a update on Sahanna.  So this is my attempt.
    My reasoning for making a website for Sahanna was really to give friends and family a place to see her day to day status while Sahanna was in the NICU.  Lot's of people had questions but knew were were busy and could not take calls while we were in the hospital (and we were there nearly ever day after work) Some were afraid to ask.  Afraid of the answers so I thought this would be a great way to communicate with them.
