8-23-06 - Birthday
I was born at 9:36pm.
You really couldn't see much of me because of my tubes and such. The big one across my face is just putting a little air in my lungs to help me remember to breath. The doctors and nurses were so impressed I was breathing on my own basically they talked about it all day. They said must have been the steroid shots my mommy got days before. Dad came and took this picture, but I didn't see mommy for about 16 hours later.

8-24-06 - DAY 2
Today they covered me with plastic because I kept getting cold and couldn't keep myself warm. So it's kind of a blanket. Man this diaper is big... You'd think they'd have something smaller.
8-25-06 - DAY 3
Everything is everything, just starting to point things out.
I'm still about 1 pound 5 ounces but I have a big heart :).
8-26-06 - DAY 4
My face is all covered up to protect my eyes from this weird light. The light is to help get rid of jaundice. I keep opening my eyes to check everything out, even though I can't really see more than light - this eye thing is pretty cool. (picture below) Later on that day they turned that top light off for the Jaundice they pulled up my hat and now you can see my face.
8-27-06 - DAY 5
Mommy and Daddy come to visit twice a day it seems. No picture today. Mommy and Daddy were so excitied to come see me they forgot the camera at home. I'm still fine I have a higher white blood count today so they say I have some kind of infection.
8-28-06 - DAY 6
Today my tube was taken out, the one that I was breathing on my own with. They put this tube down my throat a little it puffs are into my lungs. Last night I stopped breathing for more that 15 seconds or so and they thought it's better for me to use this tube to breath with vs the Cpap. The ventilator is at its lowest settings but it's better while my white blood count is up. It is pretty tiring to breath and fight an infection. They say this is all common for my size.

8-29-06 - DAY 7
Mom forgot the camera again.
But that's ok, I'm still doing fine.
8-30-06 - DAY 8
Grandma was visiting today. That was fun. I have a lil something going on on my belly. It's only because my skin is so fragile. The doc says the antibiotics should clear this up too.
8-31-06 - DAY 9
The nurse put me on my belly, I love it. I think their trying to keep me from pulling off my leads and tubes. The doc says it my help me digest my moms milk. Now she gets to see my hairy back. (This will go away the doctor says)
