Mom and Dad forgot the camera, Mom said I was especially cute today.
10-05-06 - DAY 44 | Thursday
I'm doing fine, I been breathing over the vent w/less desats. My feeds are still 16cc's. I gain a couple ounces.
10-06-06 - DAY 45
I'm doing good, I got some fresh milk from mom. I've been on formula here and there. Dad sat and talk to me until he was tired. I love him :)
10-07-06 - DAY 46 | Saturday
Hello all, I'm doing very well, each day there weining my oxygen to come of the vent. Its the last main thing I need to do right now. Breathing alone takes alot of my energy. So the more I grow & more weight I gain the better it is. Everything else is the same I don't have any IV's currently and i'm on the same feeds.
10-08-06 - DAY 47 | Sunday
The breathing guy told Mom and Dad i'm a fighter and I do better than some of the bigger babies, truth be told I hope we all do well and make it to our homes strong. Dad just had to hold me today, he said it's been way too long since the last time. Dad has a strong laugh it bothers Mom sometimes but not me at all.
10-09-06 - DAY 48
Mommy got to hold me. All I did was sleep. They keep talking about weining me off the tube. Everything else is fine.
10-10-06 - DAY 49
I'm 2 pounds. I got my tube re-taped tonight. I'm doing just fine
10-11-06 - DAY 50
Mom and Dad are happy I'm gaining weight. Now that i'm 2 pounds. Look out. I show them how strong i'm getting by moving around, putting my butt in the air and all. What fun to make them smile.
10-12-06 - DAY 51 | Thursday
I'm back on cpap (breathing on my own) and I've been doing great all day. I know Mom & Dad can barely see me but there proud of me. I can hear the nurses fight over who's taking care of me tomorrow - how funny. Flo has had me all week. Now Stacey is taking care of me tonight.
10-13-06 - DAY 52
Doing just fine. I went through 3 diapers this morning :) I'm up to 20 ccs for feeds and lovin it.
10-14-06 - DAY 53
I got somemore blood today. I'm still doing pretty well as you can see i'm bright eyed and bushy tailed on cpap. My blood gasses are better than went I was ventalated today. I'm 980 grams - 2 pounds 2 ounces.
10-15-06 - DAY 54 | Sunday
I'm 2 pounds 3.6 ounces / 1 kilo. I'm doing very good on cpap. Mommy and Daddy held me today. I went to sleep both times; what fun.
10-16-06 - DAY 55
I am still on the same feeds. Still on cpap. about 2 pounds 4 ounces. Doing good. Keep me in your prayers.
10-17-06 - DAY 56 | Tuesday
Mommy and Daddy came to see me and they both held me. I slept. The nurse let Mommy take my temp and change my diappie. Everything else is still the same. I had an eye exam done. But it's too early so they'll do it again in 2 weeks. It wasn't fun.
10-18-06 - DAY 57
Mom & Dad came to see me and wow I'm breathing room air. Instead of cpap, this thin tube just gives me oxygen not pressure. Now they can finally see me. They smiled the whole visit. I'm doing very well, just give me a couple more weeks and I'll really show you what I can do. Thanks to all of you that visit me all the time, one day youll see me for outside the web. Oh yeah I weigh 2 pounds 5.something ounces :)
10-19-06 - DAY 58
I'm doing very well, Mom held me today. Daddy changed my diappie and took my temp.
10-20-06 - DAY 59
I bradied earlier today. I don't know why, the nurse says my lungs look a little wet, so there giving me so meds in my feedings.
10-21-06 - DAY 60
I'm doing very good today. I'm still 2 pounds 5 ounces.
Mom and Dad held me and their coming back tonight.
10-22-06 - DAY 61
Today is mom's Birthday. She was so happy to see me. She called me her big girl and smiled from ear to ear. I weigh 2 pounds 5 ounces today. I'm still on the same 20ccs feeds.
10-23-06 - DAY 62
Weigh 2 pounds 8 ounces. I'm doing well but I still desat every now and then. The nurse says I had an echo today. ( A heart scan to see if my PDA is going away. They'll know by tomorrow.
