9-17-06 - DAY 26 | Sunday

mom and pops came to see me today....I dropped my heart rate and scared mommy but that's because I needed to them to get my goobers out of my nose. They say that's somewhat the normal for my size. I'm growing more and more each day.

9-18-06 - DAY 27

Well today was rough. I had some test taken to see if I have another infection. Doesn't seem like it but I keep the nurses on their toes when my stats drop such as heart rate, breathing, and oxygen in my blood. The nurse order me some more blood. Later on in the day I was doing much better. They take blood everyday from me. You'd think I need some back. This is my fourth transfusion. Mommy and Daddy didn't come to see me today but they called so many times I think the nurse was mad. Daddy is coming down with some kind of cold. My feeds are up to 12cc's they told mom they keep taking them up as I grow and as long I I tolerate it they'll keep her milk coming.

9-19-06 - DAY 28

Daddy didn't come see me today because he was under the weather. But mommy came wearing a mask... I'm up to 14ccs of milk now. The nurse Kim said there trying to fatin me up. My test was negative for an infection so I guess that was good. Mom was surprised I could move my whole head so well.
I think my hand looks weird in this pic because It's a little swollen. Other than that i'm fine.

9-20-06 - DAY 29 | Wednesday

Mommy and Daddy didn't come see me today. They called the nurse allot. They told her they were sick and it was best they not come but they'll prob be here tomorrow to see me cause their on antibiotics. I miss them. My feedings are still the same and I'm doing just fine.

9-21-06 - DAY 30

Hello everyone, Mommy came to see me Dad is still at home getting better. Moms brought me lots more milk because I was running out. She didn't stay very long, but she did take my picture. I'm still on 14ccs of milk and crusing along. I thank all of you for your prayers. Please keep praying for me everyday. I've come along way and I have a long way to go. Mom and Dad say I'm a Miracle.
I'm about 1 pound 7 ounces now.

9-22-06 - DAY 31

Today Mom and Dad came to see me. They were surprised to find I had been breathing on my own today. I'm back on Cpap. they took my breathing tube out. I'm still on 14ccs. I did desat allot earlier but i'm ok now. Mom held me in my snuggly and gave me the smallest pacifier they have. They doctors did a brain scan on me today but they wont have the results for another day. The 1st scan I had showed no bleeds. Baby's that were born as early as me usually have some type of bleeds, some are ok to have others aren't so good.

9-23-06 - DAY 32

I am 31 days old today. Wow. Mom and Dad came and found that they put the breathing tube back in my throat. The doctor came by to talk to them and tell them my nostrils were clogged up and they had to put it back. He told them it was swollen inside and through my nose is the only way I know to breath right now. I was sill fine this evening but I Jerked and kicked allot. My feeds are the same.

9-24-06 - DAY 33 | Sunday

Today I'm still getting the same feeds 14ccs, I'm still on the vent until my nose heals. I'm about 12.5 inches long & about 1lb 8 or 9 ounces..

9-25-06 - DAY 34 | Monday

Today I got the results for my brain scan and it's negative for bleeds. God is really taking care of me and is in control. Mom and Dad are very happy and grateful. I'm gaining weight taking my feeds, I pooh real good and i'm working on my breathing. I'm still pretty small so they say it's know rush but i'll have this breathing thing down pat in no time :) The last word on my PDA (heart) is that the doc's saw the valve that should close; getting smaller so they will wait to see if it closes on it's own.

9-26-06 - DAY 35

Today only mom came, she came really late like 11:00pm. Dad was really tired so he stayed home. She only stayed a little while and I mostly slept during her visit. She brought more milk for me. I was doing fine.

9-27-06 - DAY 36










I weight about lbs 10 ounces. I'm back on cpap (breathing with no tube in my throat just the puffs of air in my nostrils) I acted up a lil but they expect that for the next couple of days. Dad was glad to see me. He sat with me while mom got me more milk.

9-28-06 - DAY 37 | Thursday










Hi Dad came to see me, I'm doing just fine. I still have episodes now and then. meaning I stop breathing all together or my heart rate drops. They watch me very closely and tell me to breath or remember to breath. They expect I should do it less and less as time goes by. Dad took pictures of me even though he can't see my face very well.

9-29-06 - DAY 38

Today is Friday and I got to meet my aunt Dionne. She took pictures with me "you'll see soon". I know she couldn't see as much of me as she wanted but I could tell she was glad I to see me. My auntie was looking around at the other babies too. Since we both have the same middle name. My I'll be inquisitive just like her. I'm still on cpap and still desating from time to time. But i'm eating & my feeds increased to 16cc's every 3 hours. I hope Mommy can keep up, I love her milk.

9-30-06 - DAY 39 | Saturday

Mom & Dad didn't see me today, they went out of town to Sebring for a family gathering/Birthday party. I'm doing ok but the doctors think I may have an infection. Who knows sometimes my nurses are even sick. Since I can't tell them how I feel, they have to check everything. My blood, urine, & now spinal fluid.
I'm already on antibotics but they'll find out soon. They think this because of my episodes. You all just keep me in your prayers.

10-01-06 - DAY 40 | Sunday

My tube was retaped today, I seem to desat less. Mommy held me for a long time, I was great. I'm still on 16ccs and doing good.
