9-1-06 - DAY 10

I'm doing just fine. I'm still on my ventilator but they want to take me back off of it. My feeding tube goes to my belly. I suck on this thing all the time. Mommy and daddy comes and reads me stories at night it puts me right to bed.

9-2-06 - DAY 11

My belly is healing up nicely .
I don't miss that last Jundis light I was sleeping on; since my skin is changing I feel much better. O That big thing on my arm is just one of my things to keep my stats (heart rate) they move it around on my leg, foot. it's whatever I can still put my fingers in my mouth.

They let momma hold me for the 1st time. I could hear her heart beating again, I must have laid there for 30 or 40 minutes. Sweeeet.  Some people didn't understand how small I was until they saw me in this picture.

9-3-06 - DAY 12

Now daddy got to hold me, this was awesome I laid there a long time. I could hear mommy telling me a story. Daddy seems stiff or scared but i'm still comfy.

9-5-2006 Day 14

I've had my 3rd blood transfusion today. I don't get much about 2 or 3 teaspoons. Mommy would bank her blood but since she just had me they wont let her because she needs blood too. I must have another infection so they started some more antibotic I V's.
I was really pooped today from them messing with me. I'm going to take a good nap and I'll be fine.

9-6-06 - DAY 15

Still getting meds, I've been keeping my blood pressure higher so they'll prob take me off of that.
I wish my face wasn't so taped up, then you could really see me. Isn't my pink hat dazzling.

9-7-06 - DAY 16

O how I love blowing bubbles out of my nose.
I'm off of the high blood pressure medicine...
and those antibiotics.
Hurray. Still getting caffeine though.
They did another chest scan today....
Waiting for the results.
They also say I've gained alittle weight. Sounds like a whole ounce. I'll let mom and dad investigate this and get back to you.

9-8-2006 Day 17 | Friday!

Mommy came to see me early in the day, then they both came back to see me.
I guess I am gaining weight. I'm about 1 pound 6 ounces now. They started feeding me mom's milk again. So far everything looks good. The nurses feel my head to make sure I don't have any complications there. They say that looks fine too.

9-9-2006 Day 18

Not just skin and bones any more.
Well the feeds are still going good.
The nurses said I had a good poo :)
I've been keeping my stats real good.
Heart rate. Oxygen and such.

9-10-2006 Day 19

This was at about 12 a'm.
Mommy got to hold me again. They put me in her shirt and I warmed up to her tempature. I sat there for an hour, man was I comfy. Later on today I had two poo's by 5pm - wow. They increased my feed from 1cc to 2cc's they speed it up so fast, they say some micro preemies my size tolerate it well.

I hear Mommy and Daddy talk about who I look like.

9-11-2006 Day 20

I wasn't feeling so great today, they took out the ventaltor tube 11:00 am and put me back on cpap, but by 6:30 pm they put the tube back in my throat It was very uncomfortable. And by the time mom and dad got here I was still pretty whiny. They wanted to comfort me but all I needed was a good nap.

9-12-2006 Day 21

Daddy and Mommy came to see me, I love those folks. Mommy held me tonight It was so comfy laying on her chest. I peed on her too. Mommy said I was really filling out I guess i'm gaing more weight. Daddy took pictures and told me a story.

9-13-2006 Day 22

They increased my feedings today to 5cc's every 3 hours... whoa
and I had a big poopie :) Daddy changed my diaper and took my temp.
There's mom with that camera again... Geeez

9-14-06 - DAY 23

Today they increased my feedings to 7 whole cc's. Mom and Dad think there moving fast. But I can take alil more of mom's milk.

9-15-06 - DAY 24

I was sleeping on my tommy when mom and dad came. I slept the whole visit while mommy and daddy talked to the nurse. They say my grandparents will see me tomorrow. I'm being feed 9 cc's. I'm almost to full feed about 12 cc's. I'm getting big and doing fine. The only IV I have is the Pic line. No other antibotics and such. Thanks for checking up on me. No camera today.

9-16-06 - DAY 25 23 days, 11 hours, 46 minutes, 7 seconds @ 9:22am est.

Well I'm maintaining my 9 cc's of food. And they moved it to 11cc's. I'm sleeping alot. I can open my eyes, wiggle. I kick my arms & legs, wiggle my toes, and make faces. I can do a lot. My favorite things to do is pooh & put my hands in my mouth every chance I get.
Today Grandma and Grandpa came to see me. Both of them needed there glasses???
